Bathroom Renovations Northern Suburbs

I renovated my two bathrooms and laundry cupboard with Origin Bathrooms & Kitchens at the end of 2023. Having never renovated before my concerns were (1) cost, and ensuring the quote was in the appropriate range ( 2) quality/workmanship (3) ensuring the job was completed during a specified period when our family arranged to move out. Origin delivered on all three.

I obtained 3 quotes from local companies with fairly strong google ratings. George’s quote was within the range quoted and in fact included more items. Unlike the other companies, every single job/item was noted in the quote and so there was great transparency. George also impressed me with his knowledge when he did the initial walk through to provide the quote. I subjected him to VERY long emails with numerous questions about the job and he very patiently responded to these before I decided to go with Origin.

The renovation was a very smooth process. They used an App which uploads the contract and agreed plans, the date schedule for the work, the invoices, and even progress photos. So it’s possible to easily access the documents and see where they’re up to when you’re not living on-site.

The best part of the whole process, and what made it so smooth and ensured that the job was well done, was the project manager Jamie. He is a perfectionist and takes the time to ensure on-the-job decisions will bring the best outcome. His recommendations were always right, and he suggested improvements along the way which definitely improved our end result. Nothing was too much trouble. Jamie has a very calm and reassuring manner, and always listened to what we wanted. When tradies were sick at the start of the job he arranged additional workers to be on-site later in the week to ensure the projected time schedule was adhered to. Jamie is absolutely across the work that is required for a professionally renovated bathroom, and certainly delivered this for us. He was an absolute pleasure to work with, and his ability and attitude made the renovation an easy experience. We were not expecting that at all! We would have no hesitation recommending Origin to our friends and family.
